Who We Are
The Suburban Republican Women’s Club (SRWC) is a group of loyal, intelligent, and friendly people. We welcome members of all ages and stages. We hope you find this website a one-stop shop for current and classic economic and political information. There are links galore to explore.
Our regularly scheduled luncheons provide opportunities to hear dynamic speakers who offer unique and Conservative perspectives on political issues and campaigns of importance to our membership. As a member you receive an informative newsletter that keeps you in the loop even if you are unable to make a meeting. Please call a friend, relative, or acquaintance and invite her (or him) to attend our luncheons - local politicians, too! Communicate. Educate. Inspire. |
Our club, the SRWC, is an affiliate of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women (WFRW) - one of the largest and most influential women's political organizations in the state. The WFRW has been a state affiliate of the National Federation of Republican Women since 1940. Our clubs across the state hold local prominence and have the clout to attract political speakers to engage us and harness our grassroots energies! Elected Officials and candidates are eager for our input, our voices, our votes, and our influence. As a SRWC member, you become part of the WFRW team of approximately 1,000 members and 22 local clubs.
|
You also become a member of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) by default! The seal of the NFRW is the Golden American Eagle, king of birds, holding a quill pen and standing guard over our most treasured tool of democracy -- the ballot box. Adopted in 1944, the seal portrays the Federation's interest in the protection and integrity of our electoral process. The quill is symbolic of the power of words, especially as contained in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. With 100,000+ members, the NFRW is one of the largest women's political organizations in the country.
